Dip in Tool & Maker, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, with 6-8 years in stamping related exp
Job Description:
To manage and control operations of the stamping division
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Production, planning and control of stamping division
Will be required to Manage and coordinate activities in stamping unit.
Co ordinate in meeting production needs of the moulding production facility
Will be required to manage new product developments related to stamping division.
Ensure all production process are followed as per the procedure defined in the ISO TS 16949 QMS
Participate in 5S / EHS / Safety activities wherever assigned
Other projects/work assigned by management
Supervises / manages : Press Operator,Tool maintenance technicians,Stores In-charge,Quality Engineer
Co-ordinates with :
Internal : Moulding Production,Purchase,Stores
External : Vendors,Customers
Additional Information:
Skill Sets & Competencies : Knowledge in / of
Sound knowledge in conventional and CNC machining process ,related machinery & equipment,
Sound knowledge in stamping operation with specific experience in high speed stamping using progressive tools
Knowledge in understanding technical drawing and geometric tolerance
Good knowledge in CAD software's, knowledge in stamping tool design
Basic Project management skills
Good managerial and analytical skill
Should be a good trainer
Should be a methodical, organized worker
Should have good communication skills - written and spoken
Special Skills : Knowledge in high stamping and components with close tolerances.
